CHARLOTTE, N.C.- This Week’s Waiting Child loves to laugh. Β She also likes going swimming at the beach and cooking up tasty meals in the kitchen. Β She’s dreaming of a forever family to call her own. Β
This is Amy,Β “I like watching steve harvey.” Β She’s 16 years old and loves guessing the right answers on Family Feud. Β Just like Steve Harvey, she likes making people laugh.

When it comes to getting in the kitchen, Amy likes rolling up her sleeves to help prepare the food. Β She also cooks up a few good meals herself, “I can cook eggs, sausage, hash browns and sometimes macaroni.”

When school lets out she’s going to Myrtle Beach. Β Listening to music in the car she says makes the road trip more enjoyable, “I just listen to plain country, it doesn’t matter to me.”

They go to the beach every summer. Β Amy says she loves to jump in and out of the waves. Β She’s pretty active, you can always catch her outside, “Go outside and sometimes play football and throw to each other.”

She is looking for a family to love and care for her. Β She wants a family to make her feel special and be a support system when she graduates from school.
