CHARLOTTE, N.C. — An arrest warrant has been issued for Angelo Grayson Smith, Jr., the boyfriend of missing Bianca Tanner. The warrant is for contributing to the delinquency of a minor in Mecklenburg County.
Tanner’s 3-year-old son told investigators, “Mommy got a spanking with the belt. Angelo kicked Mommy’s butt and made her cry.” The child continues saying, “Angelo is mean to Mommy and hurt Mommy in the face.”
Police obtained a search warrant for the apartment on Druid Circle. They searched for weapons used in the alleged assault, hair, blood and other bodily fluids. They removed a lap top, foam bedding, notebooks, a zipper pouch with an empty magazine, a bottle of alcohol, two torn photographs and a gold post earring back.
There has been no activity on Tanner’s cell phone or bank account since she was reported missing on June 8.
