Man In Lincolnton Arrested On Drug Charges After Investigation

 LINCOLNTON, N.C. — Police arrested Timothy Monroe on drug charges after a drug investigation that went on for several months. 

Monroe had 100 10-milligram Hydrocodone tablets on him which held a street value between $700 and $1,000. Police say they found evidence that Monroe was selling the drug.

Monroe was arrested on the 1600 block of East Main Street.

An anonymous tip about Monroe trafficking illegal narcotics lead detectives to investigate, including getting surveillance of Monroe and his associates.

Anyone who has information is asked to call Lincolnton Police at 704-736-8900 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 704-736-8909. Those with information that leads to an arrest could receive a $1,000 reward.
