CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officer was arrested early Wednesday morning. Officers say the department’s DWI task force arrested Officer Aubrey Guldager and charged her with driving while impaired.
She was hired by CMPD in 2010 and was assigned to the North Tryon Division. She has been placed on paid administrative assignment pending the outcome of a criminal and internal investigation.
Chief Rodney Monroe says, “DWI is an extremely dangerous offense and something we as an organization will not tolerate. The CMPD will continue to hold our officers to the highest standards and accountable for their actions.”
