CMPD Officer Arrested For Driving While Impaired

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officer was arrested early Wednesday morning. Β Officers say the department’s DWI task force arrested Officer Aubrey Guldager and charged her with driving while impaired. Β 

She was hired by CMPD in 2010 and was assigned to the North Tryon Division. Β She has been placed on paid administrative assignment pending the outcome of a criminal and internal investigation. Β 

Chief Rodney Monroe says, “DWI is an extremely dangerous offense and something we as an organization will not tolerate. Β The CMPD will continue to hold our officers to the highest standards and accountable for their actions.”
