CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are investigating a homicide that happened in southwest Charlotte. Officers say a man was shot to death in the parking lot of a convenience store on Wilkinson Boulevard near Old Dowd Road.
No one has been arrested at this time. Investigators say they believe the victim and the suspect were known to each other and involved in an altercation that led to the shooting.
Police have not released the identity of the victim. This is a developing story.
