Salisbury Man Wanted For Murdering His Dad Commits Suicide

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Kenny Smith Jr. who was wanted for the murder of his father, Kenny Smith Sr., was found dead in a Charlotte motel room.

Police say it appears that Kenny Smith Jr. committed suicide. 

On Tuesday around 10:30 a.m., Kenny Smith Sr. was found dead inside his home after the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office were called to check the welfare of the 68-year-old. After investigating, they determined that Smith was murdered.

Smith’s son, 44-year-old Kenny Smith Jr., “Pee-Wee,” was the suspect of the murder. The two lived together at 104 Pineville Cir. in Salisbury.
