Charlotte Man Arrested For Trafficking Drugs

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Local undercover investigators arrested a Charlotte man for allegedly selling heroin and crack cocaine in multiple counties. Β 

Police say 34-year-old Desmond Clark was arrested Wednesday at his home on Back Creek Church Road in Charlotte. Β He is accused of selling drugs to undercover officers multiple times since April. Β 

He is facing 35 drug related charges including numerous counts of trafficking in heroin. Β He is currently in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $3 million bond. Β 

Police say Clark has an extensive criminal history, including four felony drug convictions in Cabarrus County from 1999 to 2008.
