Charlotte Man Arrested For Trafficking Drugs

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Local undercover investigators arrested a Charlotte man for allegedly selling heroin and crack cocaine in multiple counties.  

Police say 34-year-old Desmond Clark was arrested Wednesday at his home on Back Creek Church Road in Charlotte.  He is accused of selling drugs to undercover officers multiple times since April.  

He is facing 35 drug related charges including numerous counts of trafficking in heroin.  He is currently in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $3 million bond.  

Police say Clark has an extensive criminal history, including four felony drug convictions in Cabarrus County from 1999 to 2008.
