CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say five people were arrested for a violent home-invasion that happened on June 5th in Indian Trail. Β
Police believe 34-year-old Ronald Foster Jr planned the crime in detail and solicited at least one teen to commit the theft. Β
Police also arrested 17-year-old Nicholas Upton, 18-year-old Cameron White, 18-year-old Zane Cassell and 20-year-old Alexander Paul Saint Clair. Β
Investigators say the teens entered a home in the Village of Indian Trail neighborhood armed with assault rifles. Β They are accused of holding three people at gunpoint while one of the suspects took a safe from the home. Β
Police were able to recover some of the stolen property. Β They also located the two assault rifles believed to have been used in the robbery at Clair’s home in Columbia, South Carolina. Β
All the suspects are facing several felony charges. Β
