CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say five people were arrested for a violent home-invasion that happened on June 5th in Indian Trail.
Police believe 34-year-old Ronald Foster Jr planned the crime in detail and solicited at least one teen to commit the theft.
Police also arrested 17-year-old Nicholas Upton, 18-year-old Cameron White, 18-year-old Zane Cassell and 20-year-old Alexander Paul Saint Clair.
Investigators say the teens entered a home in the Village of Indian Trail neighborhood armed with assault rifles. They are accused of holding three people at gunpoint while one of the suspects took a safe from the home.
Police were able to recover some of the stolen property. They also located the two assault rifles believed to have been used in the robbery at Clair’s home in Columbia, South Carolina.
All the suspects are facing several felony charges.
