
LINCOLNTON, N.C. — Police say they made the largest illegal prescription pill bust ever in Lincoln County. Investigators say they received a tip that a man was driving a vehicle on Highway 150 that contained a large quantity of prescription pills.
Police stopped the vehicle on Jenkins Road Thursday morning. The driver, Terry Graham, allowed police to search the vehicle. During the search, officers located a container with 454 methadone pills and 1,453 Xanax pills. A total of 400 assorted pills were also found inside the vehicle. In total, police confiscated 2,307 pills. They also found a pistol inside the vehicle.
Graham has been charged with two felony counts of trafficking in opium and heroin, one felony count of possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a controlled substance and possession of a firearm by a felon. Graham was released from jail on a $115,000 bond.
