Investigators Make Largest Prescription Drug Bust Ever In Lincoln County

LINCOLNTON, N.C. — Police say they made the largest illegal prescription pill bust ever in Lincoln County. Β Investigators say they received a tip that a man was driving a vehicle on Highway 150 that contained a large quantity of prescription pills. Β 

Police stopped the vehicle on Jenkins Road Thursday morning. Β The driver, Terry Graham, allowed police to search the vehicle. Β During the search, officers located a container with 454 methadone pills and 1,453 Xanax pills. Β A total of 400 assorted pills were also found inside the vehicle. Β In total, police confiscated 2,307 pills. Β They also found a pistol inside the vehicle. Β 

Graham has been charged with two felony counts of trafficking in opium and heroin, one felony count of possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a controlled substance and possession of a firearm by a felon. Β Graham was released from jail on a $115,000 bond. Β
