Some very cool stuff on the way from Google: the company has consumer robots on the way, called “Schaft”. Β It’s too early to tell exactly when they’ll go on sale, but this video seems to show a fairly complete model. Β Maybe not as human-looking as you’d like, but it’s early in the game. Β And they can do all kinds of tasks that you probably don’t want to do.
