GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — Police arrested 22-year-old Army Specialist Tyrone Brown on five counts of statutory rape.
Brown is listed as active duty in the US army and is based out of Georgia.
The two victims knew Brown through family and were between 13 and 15 years old.
Brown was arrested by military police in Georgia and extradited to the Gaston County Jail where he is being held under a $1 million bond.
