CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Boyfriend of missing Bianca Tanner, Angelo Smith, arrived back in Charlotte early Tuesday morning and is in custody of CMPD.
Smith waived extradition from Chicago Monday.
CMPD issued a warrant for Smith’s arrest last Monday for one charge of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. US Marshals picked Smith up Thursday in Homewood, Illinois, near Chicago. Smith reported Tanner missing on June 8 and is the last person to see her alive.
CMPD is the calling the case a homicide.
