EEOC Attorney and Legal Commentator Talks On Civil Rights Act Of 1964 50th Anniversary

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Today marks the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.    
 
The measure banned discrimination based on color, religion, sex and national origin in public places.  
Civil rights organizations say there’s still a lot to keep in mind and bring attention to as we reach this milestone.
