So gas is at its highest price in 6 years! Β But this is not the way to save a little on your gasoline costs: a “pump and run.” Β It might get you knocked out or put in jail… or maybe both. Β But people are creative when it comes to saving a dollar, and hopefully, you’ll be generous about how you do it.

A little explanation is in order: gas prices generally go up at holidays, but not usually in July. Β And at a nationwide average of $3.67 a gallon, gas is the highest it’s been for the Fourth of July since 2008. Β The reason is what’s going on in the middle east right now. Β Iraq is in turmoil, and ISIS is trying to take over everything, including the oil fields. Β And since Iraq is one of the main places we get our oil from, well, you do the math.
