So gas is at its highest price in 6 years!  But this is not the way to save a little on your gasoline costs: a “pump and run.”  It might get you knocked out or put in jail… or maybe both.  But people are creative when it comes to saving a dollar, and hopefully, you’ll be generous about how you do it.

A little explanation is in order: gas prices generally go up at holidays, but not usually in July.  And at a nationwide average of $3.67 a gallon, gas is the highest it’s been for the Fourth of July since 2008.  The reason is what’s going on in the middle east right now.  Iraq is in turmoil, and ISIS is trying to take over everything, including the oil fields.  And since Iraq is one of the main places we get our oil from, well, you do the math.
