CHARLOTTE, N.C. — It’s time for The Good, The Bad and The Weird with Kristine!
Β The Good — AΒ restaurant in Wisconsin burned to the ground but the owner refused to lay anyone off. Culver’s burned down in November. Instead of letting everyone go, the owner kept paying his employees for six months which costed him about $144,000!
In return, he only asked that the employees use their spare time doing volunteer work around the community while he rebuilt the store. That Culver’s just re-opened.
The Bad — Retailer J.Crew is now offering pant sizes that come in 000. Apparently, it’s equal to a teeny, tiny 23-inch waist. Β Suck it in!
Β The Weird — Crowdfunding website kickstarter is delivering its newest and maybe one of its weirdest projects yet: The potato salad project. It funding goal is just 10-dollars because, I mean its just potato salad!
