SANTA CRUZ, C.A. — An alleged prostitute charged with manslaughter in the death of a Google executive might also be involved in the death of her boyfriend last year.
Alix Catherine Tichelman, 26, faces a series of charges in the death of Google executive Forrest Timothy Hayes, 51. He was married and a father of five who was found dead in November on his 50-foot yacht.
Authorities say Tinchelman injected him with heroin and then, as he began to die, she sipped her wine and left with all her belongings.
A few months earlier, Tinchelman was with a man in Georgia who she claimed was her boyfriend, Dean Riopelle. He is the owner of the Masquerade Nightclub in Atlanta. Police say Tinchelman called 911 when her boyfriend died.
Tinchelman said that she was in the shower, heard a large crash, and then found him unconscious on the floor.
An autopsy ruled that an accidental overdose of heroin and alcohol cause Riopelle’s death.
Tichelman was arrested and charged with battery and false report of a crime last year in Atlanta.
