A missing Gaston County woman is now accused of faking her disappearance to avoid possible jail time. North Myrtle Beach police confirm Amy Arrington did not drown.
She has a lengthy wrap sheet with convictions that date back to 1992. They include credit card theft and identity fraud charges. Warrants from last year accuse her of forging checks and using another person’s bank account number. On top of that, Arrington goes by several aliases. All of these facts are a huge clue to detectives that the story behind her disappearance wasn’t completely air tight.
Detectives are calling Amy’s bluff, but are you any good at spotting a liar?
