GEORGIA , ATLANTA — Officials say a toxicology report released on Cooper Harris, the Georgia toddler found dead inside his father’s car, did not show anything abnormal.
Police say the autopsy report stated the child died of hyperthermia. The actual report will not be released to the public until the investigation is complete.
Harris, a 22-month-old, was found strapped into a child seat in his father’s SUV, as the sun baked. His father, Justin Ross Harris, claims he forgot his son was still in his vehicle. He is currently in jail on murder and child cruelty charges.
