Β NEWTON, NC —Β A suspicious tweet on Maggie Daniels’ timeline is raising new concerns about the murdered school counselor’s neighbors.
Daniels tweeted a picture of a text message someone sent her, warning her to “be careful with your neighbor you mentioned,” and, “I would really encourage you to think about a self defense class and give serious consideration to other measures to protect yourself.” Β
The tweet was posted 11 months ago. Β Police tell us they’re trying to identify who the neighbor mentioned in the tweet is. Β A friend found Daniels dead in her Newton apartment last month. Β Her murder remains a mystery.
