YORK, S.C. — Police say a loaded handgun was found inside a York County Walmart. Β Authorities say a customer noticed the gun in the men’s bathroom at the Walmart on East Liberty Street in York. Β
The customer immediately told the store manager who locked the door to the bathroom until police arrived. Β
The handgun, a gray Smith and Wesson revolver, was found on top of a toilet paper dispenser. Β The gun had five rounds of ammunition inside. Β
Police say a man called the police department saying he accidentally left the gun inside the bathroom. Β No word if charges will be filed. Β
