ROCK HILL, SC — A Rock Hill man accused of killing his bedridden wife and his nine-year-old granddaughter will spend the rest of his life in prison.
Sixty-eight-year-old Ronald Gregory was found guilty of two counts of murder. Β Investigators say he shot and killed Barbara and Mia Rodgers because of a custody dispute with Mia’s other grandparents.
The shooting happened back in March at the family’s home on Idlewild Drive. Β Gregory sat emotionless in court Monday as the sentencing was read. Β Doctors say Gregory is mentally ill, and will receive treatment while in prison.
