NEWTON, NC– Several people have been ruled out as possible suspects in the murder of a Newton School Counselor Maggie Daniels.
Investigators have interviewed more than 100 people as they follow up on tips and leads on possible answers.
Surveillance photos show Daniels walking out of a Walmart store in Conover on June 27th.
A friend found her body the next day in her apartment on west 17th street.
Police say they want to talk to anyone who saw Daniels the week leading up to her death.
