CHESTER, S.C. — Police in Chester are investigating their first homicide of the year. Β
Officers responded to the scene of a shooting at the intersection of Pinckney and Reedy Streets Wednesday night. Β They found a 16-year-old male lying in the road. Β He was pronounced dead on the scene. Β
No arrests have been made at this time. Β
The Chester Police Department is asking anyone with information about this shooting to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-CRIMESTOPPERS.
