
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A fourth person, 26-year-old Orlando Thomas, was charged with the June murder of 28-year-old Terrance Johnson early Sunday morning.
Thomas was arrested for an unrelated charge Saturday night. After being interviewed by detectives, they determined that Thomas was involved in the murder of Johnson.
Eddrick Davis, 29, 26-year-old Ashley Holbert and 23-year-old Montez Hancock were arrested and charged with the murder of Johnson Saturday morning.
The four were charged with murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon. After being interviewed by detectives at police headquarters, they were taken to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office.
The shooting happened June 22 on the 4500 block of Wynbrook Way. Police received a call for assault with a deadly weapon and found Terrance Johnson suffering from a gunshot wound. Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene by Medic.
Police say the investigation is active and ongoing.
