CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person was taken by Medic to Carolinas Medical Center with life threatening injuries after being shot in the Somerset apartment complex.
Police received a call just before 4 a.m. in reference to a gunshot wound at 1830 Prospect Dr. CMPD K-9 unit searched the area for a suspect but did not locate anyone.
Police are still investigating what led to the shooting. No names have been released.
