THOMASVILLE, N.C. — Rakeen Leverett who was recorded clinging to the trunk of a car and speeding down I-77 in South Charlotte, is in jail this morning after a three-hour standoff with police.
Police say Leverett barricaded himself inside a home during a domestic situation Tuesday. CMPD signed warrants for Leverett’s arrest in Charlotte after the I-77 incident.
