WASHINGTON, D.C. — New reports Tuesday night that the Russian government was not involved with the shooting down of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17.  US intelligence officials say there is no direct evidence to show Russia provided the missile.

Meantime, the black boxes from Flight 17 are now in the hands of Malaysian officials.  Voice recordings from the cockpit may show whether the pilots knew the plane had been hit.  Tuesday night, former Secretary of State Madeline Albright blasted the Russian government.

“We also need to shame and blame publicly, and perhaps begin some kind of a procedure that takes us to the international criminal court.  These are war crimes,” said Albright.

Wednesday is a day of national mourning in The Netherlands as the bodies of Dutch victims of the crash return home.
