CHARLOTTE, NC — A major jobs announcement for the Queen City. 250 high-paying IT jobs are on the way to uptown Charlotte over the next four years. Spectra Group, based in New Jersey, is opening an office in the BB&T Center. The average salary is nearly $85,000.
Spectra will receive nearly $3 million in tax incentives over 12 years. Charlotte beat out Austin, Texas and Tampa Bay, Florida to land these jobs.
“We chose Charlotte because of its proximity to New York and also the talent pool Charlotte has to offer in the financial sector,” said Spectra Group president Aditya Narra.
Spectra helps the financial services industry with audits and compliance with federal regulations. The Charlotte office opens next month.
