CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are investigating after a body was found near some bushes along a busy road in east Charlotte. Β
Detectives say the body was found Monday morning on the ramp from Eastway Drive to Independence Boulevard. Β There are reports of traffic backups in the area. Β
Police have not released the name of the victim or a cause of death at this time.
