ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — Police say they arrested a woman for possessing designer drugs in Salisbury.
Deborah Loining, 39, was charged with possession of Sch I, Mephedrone, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police believe Loining was purchasing the powerful synthetic stimulate that mimics the effects of cocaine and amphetamines online.
Investigators obtained a search warrant and found Mephedrone and several other controlled substances in Loining’s possession. The substances were sent to a lab for analysis.
Detectives say additional charges are expected.
