JEBALIYA REFUGEE CAMP, GAZA STRIP —  At least 15 people were killed after tank shells hit a U.N. school Wednesday. Hundreds of Palestinians were taking refuge there from Israeli attacks.

Another 90 Palestinians were wounded in the shelling. The attack comes a day after Israel unleashed its heaviest air and artillery assault of the current war.

During the attack key symbols of Hamas control were destroyed and the territory’s only power plant was forced to shut down.
