JEBALIYA REFUGEE CAMP, GAZA STRIP —Β Β At least 15 people were killed after tank shells hit a U.N. school Wednesday. Hundreds of Palestinians were taking refuge there from Israeli attacks.
Another 90 Palestinians were wounded in the shelling. The attack comes a day after Israel unleashed its heaviest air and artillery assault of the current war. Β Β
During the attack key symbols of Hamas control were destroyed and the territory’s only power plant was forced to shut down.
