Detailed Timeline of the Search for Erica Parsons

 CHARLOTTE, NC —  Here’s a timeline of the Erica Parsons case:

July 30, 2013: Erica’s adoptive brother reported her missing.

August 8: Casey Parsons tells WCCB Erica is with her grandmother Nan in Asheville.  Police later say the woman doesn’t exist.

August 14:  The FBI, state and local investigators search the Parsons’ home.

August 20:  The Parsons appear on the Dr. Phil show.

August 21:  Investigators search a shed on property owned by Sandy’s father.

August 25:  Billboards with Erica’s picture go up in the Charlotte area.  

August 27:  The Parsons pack up their Salisbury home and move to Fayetteville.

December: Search warrants show cadaver dogs picked up the scent of human remains near a shed owned by the Parsons.

The case has since been cold.  But the search for Erica continues.  Now, the reward in this case has been bumped up to $50,000.  WCCB Charlotte is committed to covering the Erica Parsons case every step of the way.
