GAZA CITY, GAZA STRIP — A 72-hour cease-fire between Israel and Hamas is underway.
Secretary of State John Kerry says there are “no guarantees” Β that this latest attempt at peace will end the Gaza war. Hours after the start of the cease fire, Gaza officials reported that an Israeli tank killed four Palestinians. Β Β Β
At least four short humanitarian cease-fires have been announced since the conflict began July 8. Each has been broken within a few hours.
