GRANITE QUARRY, NC — Just days after the adoptive parents of missing teen Erica Parsons were hit with federal fraud charges, the community is coming together to support Erica’s family.

The teen’s biological mother, Carolyn Parsons, says she’ll do whatever is necessary to get answers.  She held a vigil Friday night in Granite Quarry, hoping someone will give police the tip needed to close the case.

“I’m Erica’s voice,” said Carolyn.  “I have to be in front.  I have to do what I deem as necessary to what I think is right to push and to find my daughter.”

The reward in the Erica Parsons case has been bumped up to $50,000.  If you have a tip, call the sheriff’s office at 704-216-8700.
