Popularity of E-Cigarettes Creating ‘Professional’ Smokers

NEW YORK,CITY– The growing popularity of e-cigarettes has triggered an unusual activity that is  known as “cloud chasing.”

The act of blowing large or unusual vape clouds with e-cigarettes vapers is known as “cloud chasing.”

At Henley Vaporium in New York City, people competed in what is called the “x-games of vaping” where competitors tried do blow big, dense, clouds of smoke from their modified e-cigarette pens.

The “professional vapers” modify their devices to burn vegetable glycerol and liquid nicotine, some are said to not use nicotine at all.

The International Cloud Championships were held earlier this year and other events like Vape Blast 2014 popped up in Texas.

These events and others like these could be showing up more and more with the e-cigarette craze still being fairly new and still growing.

The potential hazards associated with vaping are still unknown but risks related to modifying e-cigarettes have bean addressed on vaping forums and blogs.
