CHARLOTTE, N.C. — We’re following the latest on the massive Russian security breach. A Russian cyber gang is now in possession of 1.2 billion internet user names and password combinations.

That’s according to security firm, Hold Security. The breach could be the biggest theft of digital credentials in history.

Experts say they will use the information to send out spam emails for fake products. No major email providers were affected.
