HICKORY, N.C. — No one was injured after a house fire broke out at 834 6th Ave Drive NW just before 5:30 a.m. Saturday.
Investigators determined the fire was accidental and caused by electrical issues.
The fire damaged the attic and the outside wall of the home. The Catawba Valley Red Cross responded to the fire and is assisting the family.
Firefighters responded to the fire with two engines, one ladder, one rescue unit and two command units.
