CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police issued 59 charges at a DWI checkpoint at 3100 N. Tryon St. Friday night.
The charges issued were DWI – 9, suspended license – 7, no license – 17, tag/inspection – 15, drug violations – 5, other charges – 6.
The checkpoint included assistance from 24 officers from CMPD, ABC and SHP.
