CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Firefighters responded to a house fire showing heavy smoke and flames on Avalon Avenue near Glenwood Drive Saturday just before 10 p.m.
It took 23 firefighters under 23 minutes to control the fire. No injuries were reported. What started the fire is still under investigation.
