MORGANTON, N.C. — Police have issued an arrest warrant for the boyfriend of one of the victims in the triple homicide that happened in Morganton over the weekend. Β
Investigators say Donald Kincaid, 56, will be served with the murder warrant in the next few days. Β Police say his whereabouts are known and he is currently in police custody. Β
Police found Kincaid’s girlfriend, 54-year-old Barbara Johnson, her son, Freddie Thompson Jr, 21, and a family friend, Zakiya El Bey, 75, dead early Sunday morning at a home on West Concord Street. Β
According to police, all three victims appeared to have died as a result of blunt force trauma. Β However, autopsies are scheduled for Wednesday.Β
