DENVER, N.C. — Police have identified the person whose body was found in Lake Norman Thursday. Β
Officials say 53-year-old Richard Locklin was found just before 1 p.m. in the Lake Norman cove off Dick Wilson Road. Β
Locklin was reportedly last seen the night before at a nearby residence. Β His body will be sent to the Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
