CHARLOTTE, N.C. —   We are at a time when multitasking is at extremely high levels between balancing work obligations and time with the kids. Because of this increase on the demand for our time, we are seeing an increase in the number of deaths and injuries of children simply because they have been left in the car too long.  Now, parents from Nashville, Tennessee have created an app for your Smartphone that asks, did youRemember the Kids?

Stemming from  concern for the rising need, Remember the Kids is an automatic no-hassle reminder app for your phone to help you remember your child in the car seat and protect from heat exhaustion or hyperthermia.  Through your phone’s Bluetooth and/or Automatic Driving Detection, receive alerts when you arrive at your destination, providing you with more safety and security.  There is no equipment to install or required changes to your daily routine.

Rance spoke with the founder of this group Cody King to get more insight to what this app is capable of doing.
