Family First: Writing Workshop With Kwame Alexander, Young Adult Edition

Meet nationally acclaimed author Kwame Alexander and participate in a special poetry writing program for young people 12+. Parents and kids are invited to learn about his experience as a writer, have their books signed, and explore the importance of diverse books. Kids 12 and under can participate in a special book making workshop while their older siblings explore their own creative writing with the author. Space is limited, so please RSVP for the poetry workshop in advance.
