CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say 24-year-old Michael Reese of Burlington was robbed and shot twice on Chelsea Jade Lane around 2:45 a.m. Wednesday.
A neighbor called authorities in reference to gunshots in the area.
Reese was taken to CMC with non-life threatening injuries. Officials believe that drugs and alcohol may have been factors in the shooting.
Police say they don’t have any suspects at this time. The shooting is still under investigation.
