Β GREENVILLE COUNTY, SC —Β A woman in South Carolina is accused of dropping her teenage son off on the side of a road and forcing him to walk 20 miles to get home.
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office charged Tiffany Simmons with unlawful neglect of a child. Β Investigators say Simmons forced her 12-year-old out of her car on Saturday after they got into an argument. Β He wandered around for two hours before he showed up at Delinda Duncan’s home.
“The little boy was all sweaty, tired, and scared. Β So I went in the house and got him a Coke,” said Duncan.
Tiffany Simmons got out of jail Tuesday on $10,000 bond. Β Her son is staying with a family member while DSS investigates.
