ROCK HILL, SC — Two more arrests Wednesday in a violent home invasion in Rock Hill. One of the suspects is the granddaughter of the 70-year-old victim.
York County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Kaylan Whiteside and Wolfgang Liewald Wednesday. The pair, along with Ben Smith of Charlotte, are charged with attempted murder and burglary.
Investigators say they tied up, then shot Wayne Whiteside inside his home on Gentry Lane early Saturday morning. The Vietnam veteran is disabled. At last check he was listed in fair condition.
