CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte police arrested a man who is accused of escaping from the Rowan County Sheriff’s Department.
Members of the CMPD SWAT team took Jameel Stephens-Maddox into custody early Friday morning.
He was found inside a residence on Sharview Circle in southwest Charlotte. No one was injured during his arrest.
