LANCASTER COUNTY, S.C. — Β Lancaster shooting suspect who escaped police custody Friday night posted on a facebook account under the name “Fye Red.”
The latest post said, “Just had to kiss my kids before I go so. Keep calm.” Friends posted comments on the post telling ‘Qwon’ to keep his head up.
The Lancaster Sheriff’s Office told WCCB that detectives are aware of the Facebook post and are using the info to aid in tracking Blackmon down.
Blackmon faces attempted murder charges for an August 23 shooting in Lancaster. According to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office, Blackmon escaped as a deputy was walking him into the Lancaster County Detention Center around 4 p.m. Friday.
SLED sent a tracking team with dogs and a helicopter to assist in the search.
