Β LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. — Edward Hicks, 33, was arrested and placed in jail Friday for sex offense charges involving a juvenile relative.
Hicks was charged with five felony counts of first degree sex offense with a child under 13-years-old.Β
Police say the incidents occurred June 1 of this year.
Hicks was placed in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $250,000 secured bond and is scheduled to make his first court appearance September 2.
Hicks lived on Will Schronce Road in Iron Station where he was arrested by detectives.Β
